ATSUPPORT — Get Activated
No signal — needs activation

Phone upgrade and eSIM activation, walked through live.

A new phone that won't take your old number. A QR code that scans but never finishes. A SIM tray with no bars. Call the line and a technician stays on with you until the phone actually works — not until the steps are explained.

About the line

The gap between "sent" and "working"

A carrier can send an eSIM QR code or ship a physical SIM in minutes. What they can't do is watch your screen. So when the install stalls, the bars don't appear, or the new phone won't pick up your old number, you're often left comparing your screen to a generic help article that assumes a different phone, a different tray, a different plan.

ATSUPPORT is a phone-based support line built around getting the device already in your hand from "sent" to "working." We're not a wireless carrier, we don't manage accounts, and we don't sell plans or hardware — we're the technician on the other end of the call while you finish the setup on your own device.

Every call is answered by someone who works activation and upgrade issues specifically. That's the reason most calls end in a confirmed working line in around eleven minutes.

Two things people call about

Upgrading the phone, or activating the SIM

They usually arrive at the same time — new phone, new setup — but they break differently. Say which one's blocking you and the technician starts there.

Phone upgrade

Moving to a new device

  • Getting your number and messages onto the new phone without a dead line in between
  • Deciding which device activates first so two phones aren't both trying to be the active line
  • Confirming the old device is fully deactivated once the new one is live
  • Sorting out a device that shows as locked when you expected it to work on your carrier
eSIM activation

Getting the profile to install

  • A QR code that scans but leaves the profile stuck on "downloading"
  • An eSIM that installs but never shows a signal afterward
  • A profile that appears to install twice, or not at all after a retry
  • Working out whether a physical SIM or an eSIM is the right call for your device
On every call

The line moves through the same four states

Not a script — a sequence. You'll usually be able to tell which state you're in just by what's on your screen.

SEARCHING

Describe what's on the screen

An error, a spinner, a screen that hasn't changed in a while — say exactly what it shows. No technical terms needed; colors, buttons, and wording are enough to place you.

FOUND

Match it to a known cause

Most screens map to a short, known list of causes. The technician confirms which one before touching any setting, so the fix matches the actual problem.

CONNECTING

Work the steps together

You tap the buttons on your own phone; the technician checks the result of each one before moving to the next. Nothing is remote-controlled — you keep the phone in your hands the whole time.

LOCKED

Confirm with a real test

The call closes on a real test message or call going through — not a settings screen that looks correct. If it's not through, the call stays open.

Common questions

Are you my wireless carrier?+

No. ATSUPPORT is an independent support line, not a carrier, network operator, or device maker. We don't sell plans, issue SIM cards, or manage billing — we help you get the device already in your hand working, whichever carrier it's on.

What does the call cost?+

You're connected at your own plan's standard call rates. There's no separate fee, no account to create, and no payment details are ever asked for on the call.

eSIM or physical SIM — does it matter which I have?+

Not for calling us. Tell the technician what your carrier sent you — a QR code usually means eSIM, a small plastic card means physical SIM — and they'll take it from there.

What should I have ready?+

Keep the phone you're activating on and nearby. If you have an activation code or QR image, have it visible on another device or printed — otherwise just call and describe the screen in front of you.

My old phone still has service — is that a problem?+

Only if both devices end up trying to use the line at once, which is one of the more common upgrade snags. The technician will help you sequence which device activates first to avoid it.

How long does a call usually take?+

Around eleven minutes from dial to a confirmed working line. Number transfers still processing on the carrier's side can take longer — you'll be told upfront if that's likely.

Contact

If the phone isn't working yet, this is the call

No forms, no ticket queue, no callback to wait on — the line picks up and a technician starts the sequence with you directly.
